The special lecture for new employees resumed after three years due to COVID-19.
He shared his experience as a new employee, recalling how he endured burning heat without hesitation until he fully understood the production facilities, saying, "You must always have a learning attitude, find meaning and gain insights in whatever you do, and all employees must perform their roles well based on teamwork to achieve our goals."
Additionally, on the same day at the Ulsan plant, CEO Al Qatani attended the graduation ceremony of the 'ACT Engineering Program' and encouraged young employees in their 2nd to 4th years who completed the course.
This program, jointly conducted by the global petrochemical engineering professional education institution 'SPSP' and France's 'IFP Training,' provides education on refinery and petrochemical process operations, as well as maintenance of plant facilities, covering overall refinery plant operations.
CEO Al Qatani said, "I believe this is a great opportunity for young engineers who will lead the future of S-OIL to gain a broad perspective not only through field experience but also in refinery, petrochemicals, safety, and environmental management across the company," adding, "I hope they grow into leaders who will guide S-OIL’s bright future with top-tier capabilities recognized worldwide."
