9-Hole Midway Total Results, Both at 5 Under Par

‘Screen Golf Master’ Jeong Myeong-hoon challenged Kim Guk-jin to a screen golf match. The two recorded a tie in the intermediate total score after a close battle.


On the 7th, Kim Guk-jin TV featured Jeong Myeong-hoon and Kim Guk-jin competing in a screen golf match. Jeong Myeong-hoon is a self-proclaimed ‘screen golf master’ with a proven track record of winning first place in celebrity screen golf tournaments.

In the early stages, Kim Guk-jin took the lead. At the 1st hole (par 4), he recorded a 204m drive from the tee shot and succeeded in placing the ball 1.9m from the hole with his second shot. He then made a clean birdie on the next shot, moving ahead with 1 under par. On the other hand, Jeong Myeong-hoon struggled as his tee shot landed in the rough. He ultimately failed to reduce his strokes.


At the 2nd hole (par 4), Jeong Myeong-hoon began his pursuit. His tee shot flew over 265m, showcasing a powerful long drive. He then slightly lifted the ball with his second shot, landing it 4m from the hole. He successfully made the birdie putt, reducing his score by one stroke. Meanwhile, Kim Guk-jin’s third shot rolled just short of the hole, narrowly missing a birdie.


At the 3rd hole (par 3) and 4th hole (par 4), Kim Guk-jin gained full momentum by making consecutive birdies. At the 3rd hole, he made a fantastic 7.2m birdie putt, and at the 4th hole, he landed his second shot 2.7m from the hole after a 180m tee shot, successfully sinking the birdie putt. Jeong Myeong-hoon attempted a birdie at the 3rd hole but missed as the ball curved sharply to the right. At the 4th hole, his tee shot overshot the hole, resulting in a par.


At the 5th hole (par 5) and 6th hole (par 4), both Kim Guk-jin and Jeong Myeong-hoon succeeded in reducing their scores by one stroke each consecutively. Especially, Jeong Myeong-hoon gained confidence by sinking a 3.3m birdie putt at the 5th hole. Riding the momentum, Jeong Myeong-hoon continued to chase Kim Guk-jin by reducing one stroke each at the 7th hole (par 4) and 9th hole (par 5).


After the match progressed through the 9th hole, Kim Guk-jin and Jeong Myeong-hoon were tied with an intermediate total of 5 under par. The second half of the match video will be uploaded on Kim Guk-jin TV on the 13th.
