Thursday the 9th will be mostly cloudy nationwide. Rain will begin in Jeju Island in the late afternoon, spreading to the southern coast of Jeollanam-do in the evening, and expanding to the southern Gyeonggi Province and Chungcheong region, as well as other southern areas late at night, with rain or snow.
Expected precipitation until the 10th is 20?60mm in Jeju Island, 5?40mm in Jeollanam-do and Gyeongsangnam-do, 5?20mm in Jeollabuk-do and Gyeongsangbuk-do, around 5mm in Chungcheong region and the five West Sea islands, and less than 5mm in the Seoul metropolitan area. Expected snowfall amounts are 5?15cm in the northwestern inland of Gyeongsangnam-do, 1?5cm in eastern Jeollabuk-do, and around 1cm in the eastern inland of Jeollanam-do and southern inland of Gyeongsangbuk-do.
Morning low temperatures are forecasted to be between -9 and 3 degrees Celsius, and daytime highs between 5 and 12 degrees Celsius. Fine dust levels are expected to be 'moderate' across all regions. However, the southern Gyeonggi Province, Chungcheong region, Honam region, and Yeongnam region may experience temporarily poor levels in the morning.
Sea waves will be 0.5?2.0m in the East Sea coastal waters, 0.5?1.5m in the West Sea coastal waters, and 0.5?1.5m in the South Sea coastal waters. Wave heights in the offshore waters (about 200km from the coastline) are expected to be 0.5?2.5m in the East and West Seas, and 0.5?3.0m in the South Sea.
