GS Construction to Launch Yeongdeungpo Xi Dignity Sales This Month

[Asia Economy Reporter Kim Hyemin] GS Engineering & Construction will introduce the first apartment complex for sale in Seoul this year in Yangpyeong-dong, Yeongdeungpo-gu.

GS Engineering & Construction announced on the 8th that it plans to sell 'Yeongdeungpo Xi Dignity' this month in Yangpyeong 12 District, Yangpyeong-dong, Yeongdeungpo-gu, Seoul.

This complex consists of 4 buildings, ranging from 2 basement floors to a maximum of 35 floors above ground, with a total of 707 households. Among them, 185 households with exclusive areas of 59 to 84㎡ will be available for general sale.

It is a super-station area apartment adjacent to Seoul Subway Line 5 and is also close to Yeongdeungpo-gu Office Station, a transfer station for Lines 2 and 5. Residents can access Yeouido and all over Seoul via Yeongdeungpo-ro, Seobu Expressway, Gyeongin Expressway, and Olympic-daero.

Lotte Mart and Costco are within walking distance, and within a 2 km radius, there are Hyundai Department Store, Lotte Department Store, Ewha Mokdong Hospital, and Mokdong Sports Complex. Sports facilities along the Anyangcheon Stream are also available. Nearby schools include Dangjung Elementary School, Mullae Middle School, Yanghwa Middle School, and Gwanak High School.

As Yeongdeungpo-gu was recently removed from the speculative overheating district, adjustment target area, and price ceiling system area, the resale restriction period for this complex will also be reduced to one year. The obligation for actual residence will be abolished, and interim payment loans can be obtained regardless of the sale price. This will be applied retroactively once the Housing Act Enforcement Decree is amended on the 3rd.

A GS Engineering & Construction sales official said, "In Yeongdeungpo-gu, the supply of apartments within the last three years has been limited to about 150 households, so the scarcity value of new apartments is high," adding, "Yeongdeungpo Xi Dignity, with its excellent location, will be prepared as a good product incorporating Xi's technology and know-how."
