TGR Design, a golf course design company operated by Tiger Woods, announced on the 8th (local time) that it has been commissioned to design the Marcella Golf Club in Park City, Utah. Woods revealed through social media, "I am announcing that I have been entrusted with designing the Marcella Golf Club course," adding, "It will be a course that requires the full use of all skills." He continued, "My intention is to combine modern luxury with what the Marcella Golf Club aims for," promising, "I will provide a world-class experience."
Woods has already designed several golf courses. The Marcella Golf Club, which is being created this time, is Woods' first attempt at a mountain terrain golf course. This golf course will have 18 holes. With a total length exceeding 8,000 yards, it is expected to be the longest course in Utah. Completion is scheduled for 2025. The plan is to recruit 500 members and operate it as a top-tier golf club. Woods also plans to design an additional 18-hole golf course to be added later.
