[Asia Economy Yeongnam Reporting Headquarters Reporter Lee Seryeong] At around 9:16 PM on the 7th, a fire broke out at a textile manufacturing factory in Yusan-dong, Yangsan-si, Gyeongnam, causing property damage estimated by the fire department at about 140 million won.
According to the Gyeongnam Fire Headquarters on the 8th, a factory official saw flames rising from the machinery inside the textile dyeing and drying workshop and reported it to 119.
At the scene, 54 personnel including firefighters and police officers, along with 21 firefighting vehicles and equipment, were deployed.
The fire burned down one processing factory building and one fabric warehouse, and one fabric dryer and one dust collector were completely destroyed.
The fire was fully extinguished around 11:44 PM, and no casualties were reported.
The police and fire authorities are investigating the exact cause of the fire.
