Support for Birthday Cakes for Over 200 Children from Vulnerable Groups
[Asia Economy Yeongnam Reporting Headquarters, Reporter Song Jong-gu] Namhae-gun, Gyeongnam, and Paris Baguette Namhae Branch have signed a sponsorship agreement for birthday celebration cakes for Dream Start children.
Since 2014, Dream Start has been receiving support from Paris Baguette Namhae Branch to provide birthday cakes to families experiencing economic and environmental difficulties.
On the 7th, Paris Baguette Namhae Branch announced that from 2014, when the birthday cake sponsorship began, until 2022, they have sponsored birthday celebration cakes for 1,453 people, and this year, they agreed to support about 200 people (worth approximately 5 million KRW).
Jung Saeng-jong, branch manager of Paris Baguette Namhae Branch, said, “I feel rewarded to share the love received from the residents with the children in the community. I hope the children celebrating their birthdays grow up happily and healthily.”
Jang Chung-nam, the county governor, said, “I am grateful for the continuous support during difficult times, giving what is truly needed to others and bringing joy to them. We will strive even more to ensure that children can grow up happily.”
Namhae-gun Dream Start provides customized integrated services to vulnerable children aged from 0 years (including pregnant women) to 12 years old and is working to support the healthy growth and development of children.
