The concert, held at Carnegie Hall's Zankel Hall, will highlight works by modern and contemporary female composers who have greatly influenced music history in celebration of Women's History Month in March. The program features works by female composers such as Amy Beach, the first American woman to compose a symphony; singer-songwriter Nina Simone; and Mexico's representative female composers Consuelo Vel?zquez and Mar?a Grever, performed by Park Hyesang's voice accompanied by pianist Katelan Tran Terrell.

Works by Korean female composers will also be presented. Choral pieces "Gasiri" and "Ari Arirang" by composer Woo Hyowon, former resident composer of the National Chorus of Korea, have been arranged for soprano vocal performance and will be introduced for the first time. A song cycle composed by Lee Ji-hye, who wrote the music for the Korean original musical "13 Fruitcakes," which premiered at La MaMa Theatre in New York in 2019 and received high praise from local critics, will also be performed.

Additionally, "Breath Alone," a work by Cecilia Livings, a resident composer at the Canadian Opera Company that portrays the lives of three female artists, will be premiered.

A representative of the Korean Cultural Center New York stated, "We believe that soprano Park Hyesang's Carnegie Hall debut performance, as a next-generation diva attracting worldwide attention, will serve as an opportunity to further elevate the status of K-Classic in New York." Tickets for the concert can be purchased on the Carnegie Hall website. Detailed information is also available on the Cultural Center's website, Facebook, and Instagram.
