Signing of Business Advisory Agreement for Small and Medium Enterprises and Small Business Owners
[Asia Economy Reporter Kiho Sung] The Seoul Credit Guarantee Foundation is partnering with the Federation of Korean Industries Small and Medium Business Cooperation Center to improve the management of small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) and small business owners in Seoul who are experiencing management difficulties by providing management consulting and know-how transfer.
The Seoul Credit Guarantee Foundation announced on the 8th that it will sign a "Business Agreement for Management Support of Seoul SMEs and Small Business Owners" with the Federation of Korean Industries Small and Medium Business Cooperation Center.
Accordingly, the Federation of Korean Industries Small and Medium Business Cooperation Center will support ▲ providing management consulting, diagnosis, education, and other support programs for SMEs and small business owners using the Federation's management consulting group ▲ mutual cooperation for the introduction of ESG (Environmental, Social, Governance) management for SMEs and small business owners ▲ discovering cooperative projects that can contribute to revitalizing the Seoul local economy and stabilizing the management of SMEs and small business owners.
Furthermore, the Seoul Credit Guarantee Foundation plans to expand its support scope not only to 'small business owners,' who have been the main target of existing non-financial support, but also to 'SMEs,' and to broaden the main supported industries, which were mainly focused on the food service and wholesale/retail sectors, to include 'manufacturing' and others, thereby addressing blind spots in support.
Jucheol Su, Chairman of the Seoul Credit Guarantee Foundation, stated, "Until now, the foundation has mainly focused on supporting small-scale small business owners and life-related industries, but this agreement is a good opportunity to strengthen support for small enterprises aiming for growth and various industries including manufacturing." He added, "By combining the capabilities of the Seoul Credit Guarantee Foundation and the Federation of Korean Industries Small and Medium Business Cooperation Center, we will actively support Seoul SMEs that are facing increasing difficulties due to recent inflation and interest rate hikes."
