[Asia Economy Reporter Minwoo Lee] The online secured loan comparison platform 'Dambi' will now allow applications for the Korea Housing Finance Corporation's Special BoGumJaRi Loan.

Bestfin, the operator of Dambi, announced on the 7th that the Special BoGumJaRi Loan has been added to Dambi. As a result, applications for the Special BoGumJaRi Loan can now be made not only through the Housing Finance Corporation's website or by visiting SC First Bank branches but also via Dambi.

In particular, Dambi provides consultation services for consumers who find non-face-to-face applications difficult. Customers can receive information on loan eligibility, housing price assessment, types of collateral, and more regarding the Special BoGumJaRi Loan.

The Special BoGumJaRi Loan offered by the government targets non-homeowners, single homeowners, and temporary two-homeowners. If the house price is 900 million KRW or less, borrowers can borrow up to 500 million KRW for a maximum of 50 years. The product features a fixed interest rate in the low 4% range annually, with no prepayment penalties. The loan-to-value (LTV) ratio limit is 70%, and up to 80% is allowed for first-time homebuyers. The program is funded with 39.6 trillion KRW and will close early once the limit is reached.

Dambi is also holding a commemorative event until the 31st of next month. Customers who apply for a Special BoGumJaRi Loan consultation through the Dambi application will receive 10,000 KRW in Naver Pay (limited to the first 200 applicants), and those who take out a loan will be entered into a draw to receive a total of 3 million KRW in interest support funds (3 winners). Winners will be announced on May 18.
