Busan Office of Education Announces 310 Final Successful Candidates for Public Secondary School Teachers

The final successful candidates include 305 people in 29 subjects for general recruitment and 5 people in 5 subjects for disabled recruitment, including health, librarian, professional counseling, nutrition, and special education teachers.

The Office of Education selected the final successful candidates through the second exam, which included lesson plan writing and teaching demonstration, in-depth interview on teacher aptitude, and practical evaluation, targeting 478 first exam passers.

The gender ratio is 92 men (29.7%) and 218 women (70.3%), with the male ratio increasing by 3.9% compared to the previous year.

Individual scores can be checked on the Busan Metropolitan Office of Education’s ‘NAIS Staff Online Recruitment (Secondary Appointment)’ site from the 7th to the 14th for 8 days.

Successful candidates must prepare the registration documents listed in the announcement and submit them by registered mail (postmarked by the 10th at the post office) to the Teacher Personnel Division of the Office of Education from the 7th to the 10th.

Newly appointed teachers are required to complete 50 hours of group training from the 13th to the 17th, and during the training period, from the 16th to the 17th, they will receive work guidance through school field experience learning.

The Busan Office of Education plans to appoint teachers sequentially starting from March 1 according to the teacher supply and demand plan.
