CodeNut Inc., a cloud-based Software as a Service (SaaS) startup, announced on February 6 that its cloud workbook publishing platform, Quizrix, has received the highest GS Certification Grade 1 from the Korea Information and Communication Technology Association (TTA).
The GS Certification is a quality certification system awarded to excellent software evaluated based on criteria such as functional suitability, performance efficiency, compatibility, usability, reliability, and security according to the International Organization for Standardization (ISO) international standards. Achieving Grade 1 designation makes the software a priority purchase target for public institutions.
Quizrix is an authoring tool that allows anyone to easily create digital textbooks or workbooks and is provided as a SaaS service that requires no separate program installation. Even without coding knowledge, users can arrange eight types of questions and freely insert text, images, and media, enabling expert-level editing. Additionally, workbooks optimized for web and mobile can be conveniently delivered to students via email and KakaoTalk.
CodeNut Inc. has secured momentum for continuous research and development, having been selected for the 3rd IBK Changgong Daejeon program in 2023. The company expressed its ambition to grow as an edutech startup by not only providing digital workbook authoring tools but also incorporating AI technology. Through a platform that can be used for learning guidance, it plans to offer visualized AI learning performance reports and make features such as data-driven question search, grade management, and creation of error notes freely available to all teachers.
A representative from CodeNut Inc. stated, “Although one smart device per student and teacher is being distributed to adapt to the rapidly changing educational environment, domestic software that can utilize these devices is insufficient. We developed this tool by reflecting the voices from the field as much as possible so that teachers can easily create worksheets and provide learning guidance.”
Meanwhile, CodeNut Inc. was selected as the 3rd Daejeon cohort of IBK Changgong, an innovative startup nurturing program operated by IBK Industrial Bank of Korea, in the first half of this year.
