According to the city on the 6th, same-day vaccination by contacting medical institutions to confirm vaccine supply will be available from the 13th, and vaccinations through advance reservations will be possible from the 20th.

The vaccine used is the Pfizer vaccine for infants and toddlers. A total of three doses are administered at 8-week intervals.

There are six hospitals in Mokpo City designated for infant and toddler vaccinations, and considering that the main recipients are high-risk infants and toddlers, vaccinations are conducted at medical institutions capable of emergency treatment.

A city health center official stated, “The effectiveness and safety of infant and toddler vaccinations have been confirmed,” and urged, “We ask that high-risk groups with underlying conditions such as immunodeficiency, along with infants and toddlers, actively participate in the vaccination.”
