Jeonnam Province and Joint Preliminary Budget of 300 Million Won Invested

[Wando＝Asia Economy Honam Reporting Headquarters Reporter Choi Kyung-pil] Wando-gun, Jeollanam-do (Governor Shin Woo-cheol) announced on the 6th that it has jointly invested 328 million KRW in contingency funds with Jeollanam-do to support heating costs for vulnerable groups suffering from double hardships due to the ongoing cold wave and soaring heating expenses.

The support targets were elderly living alone receiving customized elderly care services and single-parent families, providing 200,000 KRW per household to a total of 1,606 households.

Governor Shin Woo-cheol said, "I hope that vulnerable groups will not be left out and can spend a warm winter," adding, "We will continue to do our best to implement meticulous welfare administration."
