Mizuno Launches Two 5th Generation 'ST230 Drivers'

Korea Mizuno announced on the 6th that it will release two types of the 2023 model 'ST230 Driver,' focusing on fast ball speed and low spin performance.

The new driver models are the 5th generation of the Mizuno ST series. Golfers can choose between two options, 'ST-X 230' and 'ST-Z 230,' depending on their desired swing type.

The ST-X 230 driver is designed to produce a draw ball flight. Lightweight carbon is used on the toe side of the head sole to reduce weight, and a 7g weight is placed on the heel to increase the speed of head rotation. According to the company, it prevents distance loss and improves directionality for golfers struggling with slices.

The ST-Z 230 driver excels in straightness and low spin performance. It is suitable for golfers who want stable directionality. Carbon is evenly applied to the toe and heel sides of the head to enhance straightness. This model is also available in fairway wood and utility versions. Additionally, Mizuno's 'Quick Switch' allows fast and easy adjustment of loft, face angle, and lie angle combinations with 8 options.
