Jinju City Promotes Consulting Support Project for Small and Medium Enterprise Public Contest Programs

Active Support for Selection in Nationwide Public Contest Projects

[Asia Economy Yeongnam Reporting Headquarters Reporter Choi Soon-kyung] Jinju City in Gyeongnam announced on the 6th that it will promote the ‘Small and Medium Enterprise (SME) Public Contest Project Consulting Support Project’ aimed at selecting various national public contest projects for local companies, the first of its kind in Gyeongnam.

The project is carried out by the Jinju Chamber of Commerce and Industry, and the support target is SMEs with headquarters or business sites in Jinju City. The Jinju Chamber of Commerce and Industry provides real-time information on government, local government, and public institution corporate support and public contest projects via SNS and email, supporting expert consulting for companies to apply for relevant public contest projects.

Currently, an ‘Alert System’ for real-time information provision is being established, with pilot operation scheduled for February and full operation starting in March. Until the system is fully operational, information provision is being offered upon request from companies.

The specialized consulting for public contest projects analyzes the public contest projects companies wish to apply for, supporting actual application rather than simple business plan writing services. Consulting includes discovering public contest projects, internal and external environment research, setting task directions, and drafting public contest project plans.

Support will be provided to 18 companies, divided into basic and advanced stages, and participating companies are being recruited through the Jinju Chamber of Commerce and Industry website.

A city official stated, “Through the SME Public Contest Project Consulting Support Project, which is being implemented for the first time this year, we hope many companies will receive corporate support benefits, be selected for various public contest projects, and thereby enhance competitiveness, increase sales, and create jobs.”
