[Asia Economy Reporter Lee Gwan-ju] Hanchang Paper announced on the 3rd that its operating profit based on individual standards last year was 1.2994 billion KRW, a decrease of 92.7% compared to the previous year. Sales increased by 18.0% to 214.9235 billion KRW, while net profit decreased by 69.5% to 4.57788 billion KRW.

The company stated, "Although sales increased due to the operation of the new equipment of Unit 5, operating profit and net profit decreased due to rises in raw materials, energy, and transportation costs."
