[Asia Economy Reporter Hyungsoo Park] Me2on announced on the 3rd that all 600 Hero NFTs for Season 3 of the strategic battle P2E game ‘Pocket Battles NFT War’ have been sold out.
This was a successful outcome despite the sluggish NFT market conditions. It is significant as a utilization case conducted on Me2on Group’s own blockchain technology-based NFT marketplace, allowing easy and convenient trading of characters and assets from various P2E and NFT games.
Pocket Battles NFT War is the first P2E·NFT MApp (MEVerse DApp) onboarded on the Miverse mainnet. It is a casual strategy battle mobile game where players collect one NFT hero, one regular hero, and one mercenary character to form their own squad and engage in battles. Since its release in July last year, it has ranked first in the casual genre on the P2E game ranking site PlayToEarn.net. It successfully completed each season from Season 1 to 2, maintaining a top position in the overall rankings. Thanks to the continuous popularity of the game supported by numerous users since its launch, Season 3 NFTs have now sold out.
The Season 3 Mystery Box NFTs will be randomly revealed at 1 PM on February 3rd as four types of new hero NFTs with Rarity Legend grade. Users can participate in the 'Pocket Championship,' a tournament for NFT holders in the ‘Pocket Battles NFT War’ game, and earn prize money based on their ranking in each round through their hero NFTs.
Me2on CEO Changwook Son said, "Despite many external concerns in the blockchain market, we are pleased to achieve a successful result with a complete minting sell-out," adding, "We will continue to strive to make ‘Pocket Battles NFT War’ the best P2E game."
