In episode 214 titled "Golf Lesson for My Wife," uploaded on the 'Golfman Jo Yoon-sung TV' channel on the 29th of last month, Jo Yoon-sung's wife, who was struggling with her driving distance, received a lesson. On that day, his wife expressed her concern that despite leaning back and stretching her arms with full force, her driving distance did not increase, and she felt her swing was interrupted midway.

In response, Jo Yoon-sung advised, "Instead of stretching your arms with full force, think of flicking the clubhead lightly." The reason was that if too much force is applied during the backswing, the follow-through motion cannot connect naturally, reducing efficiency. He said, "The less you move your body during the backswing and the more relaxed your follow-through is, the smoother your swing will be and the longer your driving distance. Hitting with all your might does not necessarily make the ball go farther."

After demonstrating the motion, Jo Yoon-sung’s wife followed along and practiced. She focused on minimizing upper body movement while getting used to the feeling of naturally flicking the clubhead. Before the lesson, she recorded a driving distance of 163m, but as her skills improved, she surpassed 197m on her final swing, setting her personal best.

His wife expressed amazement, saying, "I used to hit the ball with all my strength, but I never achieved this kind of distance. It feels like my body is moving lightly, yet the swing is natural and comfortable."
