Pizza Innovation Co., Ltd. (CEO Kim Cheol-woon), which operates the single-serving pizza specialty store "Pizzameokda," announced on February 3rd that it has completed a master franchise agreement with HFBG (Happy Family Business Group) in Thailand and is embarking on full-scale overseas market expansion.
The single-serving pizza specialty store "Pizzameokda" is an innovative concept that breaks the existing pizza market mold by allowing customers to conveniently hold and eat pizza with one hand, similar to a hamburger or hot dog. Since launching its first store in Daechi-dong in 2021, it has rapidly expanded its franchise network through word-of-mouth from customers and introductions by franchisees, with the 52nd store scheduled to open this February and contracts confirmed up to the 60th store.
In particular, Pizzameokda, which features a square-shaped single-serving pizza breaking away from the traditional round pizza form, has received great responses from customers as it offers a tasty and convenient light meal option not only in academy districts but also in office areas. Additionally, the simplified operating system requires only half the labor compared to traditional pizza operations, providing great satisfaction to entrepreneurs.
HFBG (Chairman Han Sun-woo), which signed the master franchise agreement, is a franchise group that has launched various brands such as "Haengbokhan Jjimdak," "Hwarak BBQ Chicken," and "Baekyeon Gejang," managing over 200 franchise stores domestically.
Chairman Han Sun-woo, leading HFBG, expressed confidence that the "Pizzameokda" brand can become the top pizza franchise in Thailand. He stated that the unique square-shaped single-serving pizza of Pizzameokda will be competitive not only in Thailand but worldwide, and that this confidence led to the decision to sign the "Pizzameokda" master franchise agreement.
A representative of Pizza Innovation Co., Ltd. said, "Inquiries about overseas master franchises for Pizzameokda are increasing, and discussions are currently underway with Indonesia and Hong Kong. We plan to enter multiple countries within the next one to two years to demonstrate the competitiveness of the single-serving pizza specialty store Pizzameokda."
