Changnyeong-gun Chamber of Commerce and Industry Strengthens Resolution to Establish Changnyeong Chamber of Commerce

The Changnyeong Business Association recently held the 2023 regular general meeting and New Year's greeting event of the Changnyeong-gun Business Association at the Gyeonghwa Hall in Changnyeong, with about 200 attendees including local businesspeople and guests, promising a hopeful tomorrow through the blessings of the Year of the Black Rabbit and mutual cooperation.

The event, jointly hosted by the Changnyeong-gun Business Association and the Changnyeong Chamber of Commerce and Industry Establishment Preparatory Committee, was attended by Cho Hyunhong, Acting Mayor of Changnyeong-gun, Kim Jaehan, Chairman of Changnyeong-gun Council, along with provincial council members, county council members, and heads of institutions and organizations, who all pledged to support the establishment of the Changnyeong Chamber of Commerce and Industry.

During the event, which was divided into two parts?the regular general meeting and the New Year's greeting?Chairman Yoon Byung-guk said, "For a chick to hatch from an egg, the chick and the mother hen must peck the shell simultaneously from inside and outside, a wisdom called jul-tak-dong-si (啄同時)." He added, "Let us overcome the economic crisis through communication and harmony between the residents and businesspeople, and devote all our efforts to the long-cherished establishment of the Changnyeong Chamber of Commerce and Industry."

The Changnyeong-gun Business Association has been waiting for the approval of the jurisdictional division from the Miryang Chamber of Commerce and Industry since 2021, after completing the establishment promotion committee and the preparatory meeting for the Changnyeong Chamber of Commerce and Industry. To establish the Chamber of Commerce and Industry, more than 100 companies eligible for membership, including at least 50 companies with sales exceeding 5 billion KRW, must submit consent forms agreeing to the establishment.
