Elementary Students Aged 6 to Under 12 Requiring Care
[Gokseong=Asia Economy Honam Reporting Headquarters, Reporter Cha Jongseon] Gokseong-gun, Jeollanam-do (Governor Lee Sangcheol) announced that it is operating the Gokseong-gun Dahamkke Care Center to eliminate blind spots in elementary school care.
The Gokseong-gun Dahamkke Care Center provides continuous and temporary care services, learning guidance, and programs to elementary school students aged 6 to under 12 who need after-school care, regardless of income level.

The Dahamkke Care Center operates five days a week from Monday to Friday.
During the school term, it is available from 12:00 PM to 7:00 PM, and during vacations, from 9:00 AM to 7:00 PM. Various programs such as homework, learning support, arts and physical education, and experiential activities are conducted, and the usage fee is free.
Children who need care can apply online or visit the welfare team at the local eup/myeon office of their address. The capacity is 20 people, and applications are accepted on a first-come, first-served basis.
The Gokseong-gun Dahamkke Care Center is located at 17, Eupnae 16-gil, Gokseong-eup.
A representative of the Dahamkke Care Center said, “We plan to continuously build an educational environment where children are safe and parents are reassured by providing care services to elementary school students in care blind spots.”
