This consulting was conducted targeting facilities for the elderly and disabled, where evacuation-vulnerable individuals such as immobile patients and the elderly, who are at high risk of casualties in the event of fire or other disasters, mainly reside.
The key points included ▲ sharing major fire cases in elderly and disabled facilities and autonomous safety management plans for related personnel ▲ guidance on safety management of fire-fighting facilities and evacuation fire prevention facilities ▲ and forming a safety consensus for fire prevention during the winter season.
Jeju Western Fire Station plans to continue conducting fire safety consulting focusing on facilities where casualties and property damage are expected to be significant in the event of fire during the winter season.
A representative of Jeju Western Fire Station said, “Along with fire safety consulting, we will promote special fire inspections and fire drills, and guide the establishment of an autonomous safety management system for related personnel to do our best in safety management.”
