Gwangju University, Collaborative Discussion on Innovative Education System Development and Opinion Sharing

Successful Completion of the Education Innovation Research Institute Performance Sharing Meeting

[Asia Economy Honam Reporting Headquarters Reporter Yoon Jamin] Gwangju University held a communication event to share various opinions aimed at realizing an innovative education system.


Gwangju University announced on the 1st that the Education Innovation Research Institute's performance sharing meeting was successfully concluded.

The performance sharing meeting was attended by key faculty members including Vice President Kim Gap-yong, Director of Planning Park Kyung-jong, Director of External Cooperation Kim Kyung-tae, Director of Academic Affairs Han Kyu-moo, as well as about 40 staff members.


The meeting reported on the achievements of programs operated over the past year by the Education Innovation Support Center, e-Learning Support Center, and Non-Curricular Education Support Center, and presented plans for this year's operations.


Additionally, Professor Kim Jin-young from the Teaching and Learning Support Center presented research results on the topic of "Improvement of Course Syllabi and Course Improvement Reports," and Professor Jin Jae-seop from the e-Learning Support Center presented research on "Lecture Evaluation Improvement."


Along with this, a special lecture was held by Dr. Lee Hyo-sung from Chonnam National University’s Education Innovation Research Institute on the topic of educational performance analysis and feedback methods.


Oh Seon-ah, Director of Gwangju University’s Education Innovation Research Institute, said, “Through this performance sharing meeting, a communication space was created to share various opinions aimed at realizing Gwangju University’s innovative education system,” and added, “Going forward, the Education Innovation Research Institute will continuously collect opinions from internal faculty and external experts to build an innovative education system.”
