[Jangseong=Asia Economy Honam Reporting Headquarters Reporter Jo Hangyu] Jangseong-gun, Jeollanam-do announced on the 1st that from next month, extended working hours for passport issuance will be operated by advance reservation system.
The county has been implementing extended working hours for residents who find it difficult to obtain passports during business hours.
Starting next month, as the advance reservation system is implemented, civil petitioners who wish to receive passports after working hours must make a reservation in advance by phone.
The extended working hours will be every Wednesday from 6 PM to 8 PM, excluding legal holidays.
A county official said, “We plan to actively promote the advance reservation system for extended passport issuance hours, which will be changed from next month, through the county website, SNS, and neighborhood newsletters to minimize inconvenience to residents.”
