Recruitment of This Year's Eligible Applicants Until the 24th
The Kangwon Land Social Contribution Foundation announced on the 1st that it is recruiting this year's beneficiaries for the 'Housing Environment Improvement Project' to help vulnerable groups living in four mining area cities and counties until the 24th.
The Housing Environment Improvement Project is a regional welfare enhancement project that the foundation has been conducting since 2004. It supports home repairs such as roof renovation and heating facility installation for vulnerable groups in mining areas, as well as the installation of convenience facilities for people with disabilities.
The support amount is up to 15 million KRW for general home repair projects, and up to 40 million KRW for the 'Barrier-Free (BF) Certified House' project, which improves mobility for disabled households to enable independent living.
Applications can be submitted through the administrative welfare centers of the respective cities and counties by attaching the application form and health insurance payment confirmation, which are available on the foundation's website. The foundation will comprehensively review household conditions, housing status, urgency, and necessity to select 30 general households and 4 disabled households for support, and plans to announce the final beneficiaries in April.
Since 2004, the Kangwon Land Social Contribution Foundation has supported a total of 3,263 households with 9.1 billion KRW through the Housing Environment Improvement Project.
