[Asia Economy Reporter Kim Cheolhyun] On the 1st, Ohouse announced that the number of customers who spent over 1 million KRW increased by 24% compared to the previous year, based on an analysis of customer purchase patterns last year.
The increase in customers spending over 5 million KRW annually at Ohouse was even steeper. Compared to 2021, the number of customers who spent more than 5 million KRW at Ohouse rose by 62%. This is attributed to a significant rise in cases where customers purchase large furniture such as beds and sofas, as well as major home appliances like refrigerators, washing machines, and TVs all at once through Ohouse.
As of December last year, the number of products sold on Ohouse increased by 58% compared to the previous year. Various domestic and international design furniture brands joined the platform, and the variety of digital and white goods such as computers, air conditioners, and clothing care appliances also expanded. The purchase conversion rate of Ohouse customers also increased by 33% compared to the previous year.
An Ohouse representative stated, "Through this analysis, we confirmed that even in 2022, when consumer sentiment was dampened by economic downturn and high inflation, Ohouse users actually grew their trust in Ohouse and used it more frequently. We will continue to make efforts so that customers can gain inspiration through diverse lifestyle content and easily discover and purchase products that suit their tastes."
