Ulsan City Ambassador Appointment Ceremony Held on the 1st

[Asia Economy Yeongnam Reporting Headquarters Reporter Kim Yong-woo] Rising actor Jung Soo-han, originally from Ulsan and currently appearing in the KBS daily drama ‘My Eyes Are Covered with Bean Pods,’ will serve as a promotional ambassador for Ulsan City.

On the 1st at 3:30 PM, Ulsan Mayor Kim Doo-gyeom will appoint actor Jung Soo-han as a Ulsan promotional ambassador at City Hall.

As his first official activity as an ambassador, Jung Soo-han is scheduled to appear on Ulsan City’s official YouTube channel ‘Gorae TV’ to showcase various attractions of Ulsan.

Currently, Jung Soo-han is playing the role of Kim Do-sik in the popular daily drama ‘My Eyes Are Covered with Bean Pods,’ which is airing on KBS1TV.

In addition, he has been active in web dramas such as ‘Secret Bulletin Board,’ ‘Yorokorom Nyamnyam Season 2,’ and ‘Nothing Special,’ as well as films including ‘Stella,’ ‘Faceless Boss,’ and ‘Shuttle 2.’ He has also appeared in commercials for the Galaxy Note20 and Galaxy Fold2, gaining attention as a promising talent in both broadcasting and film industries.

Jung Soo-han said, “It is truly an honor to be appointed as a promotional ambassador for my hometown Ulsan, to which I have a special affection,” adding, “I will actively take the lead in widely promoting the charms of Ulsan through energetic activities.”

Mayor Kim Doo-gyeom stated, “I am pleased to appoint an actor with a distinctive personality and promising future as a Ulsan promotional ambassador,” and added, “I hope he will widely introduce the diverse attractions of Ulsan’s industry, ecology, culture, and tourism to the public.”

Actor Jung Soo-han is known as a ‘genuine Ulsan native,’ having graduated from Myeongchon Elementary School, Jinjang Middle School, and Hyojeong High School in Ulsan.

The Ulsan City promotional ambassador position is an honorary role with a two-year appointment period and no salary, involving domestic and international activities to enhance Ulsan’s prestige, as well as promotion of major city policies and cultural tourism.

Currently, broadcasters Lee Yong-sik, trot singers Park Gun and Hong Ja, and actor Kim Sung-hwan are serving as promotional ambassadors for Ulsan City.
