Awarded at 'KBIS 2023' with 'Daiko Kitchen Theater'
"Leading the Premium Built-in Market"
[Asia Economy Reporter Han Yeju] On the 1st, Dayco announced that it received the '2023 Innovation Showroom Award' from the National Kitchen & Bath Association (NKBA) in the United States. Dayco is a luxury appliance brand in the U.S. acquired by Samsung Electronics in 2016.
The Innovation Showroom Award is given to showrooms that provide consumers with a special experience among the brands participating in 'KBIS 2023,' held in Las Vegas, USA, from January 31 to February 2 (local time), organized by the National Kitchen & Bath Association.

Dayco won in the Kitchen & Bath Design Center category with its 'Dayco Kitchen Theater' located in Irvine, California. The Dayco Kitchen Theater features an open structure that harmoniously connects indoor and outdoor spaces, using natural materials such as wood with visible grain and stone to elevate the space's elegance. It opened as the third showroom in 2020, following New York and Chicago.
Collaborating with artists from California, the showroom also reflects the local character. Lighting specially created by Simon and Salazar and refrigerator panels by Alex Turco add personality to the space. The award was also attributed to the diverse experiences offered, including professional cooking demonstrations, product usage, and education.
At the Dayco Kitchen Theater, visitors can explore various styles of kitchen appliances, including the 'Contemporary' line that embodies urban modernity and the 'Transitional' line that combines modern design with craftsmanship.
Geraldine Morrison, Dayco's marketing manager, said, "We are honored that the showroom reflecting the personality of Southern California, where the luxury built-in appliance Dayco was born, has received this award. We will continue to provide customers with more special experiences and lead the premium built-in market."
