Interpark, Analysis of Honeymoon Package Product Users
Interpark announced on the 1st that the number of users of the company's honeymoon package products increased by about 17 times (1604%) compared to the previous year as of last year.
Interpark explained that this is analyzed as a result of the gradual recovery of overseas travel sentiment in the COVID-19 endemic (periodic outbreak of infectious diseases) era, combined with the travel demand of young couples who had postponed their honeymoons due to COVID-19.
The most popular honeymoon destination was Bali, Indonesia, accounting for 22%. This was followed by the Maldives (20%), Thailand (Phuket and Ko Samui, 16%), Hawaii (14%), and Europe (11%).
Interpark is preparing related products to respond to the honeymoon travel trend that prefers luxury accommodations and long stays of seven days or more. They also announced plans to collaborate with tourism boards of special regions such as Seychelles and Mauritius in the Indian Ocean of Africa, Malta in the Mediterranean, Mallorca in Spain, and Tahiti in the South Pacific to introduce unique honeymoon products.
