Jang Youngjin, First Vice Minister of the Ministry of Trade, Industry and Energy, who attended as an award presenter, emphasized expectations for export growth centered on eco-friendly vehicles this year. Vice Minister Jang said, "Despite very difficult export prospects this year, we expect the automotive sector focused on eco-friendly vehicles to become a pillar of Korea's exports. The government will also actively respond to trade issues and vigorously promote policies for the parts industry's transition to future vehicles."

The Ministry of Environment, another key ministry in eco-friendly mobility policy, also pledged policy support to expand the supply of eco-friendly vehicles. Geum Hanseung, Director of the Climate and Carbon Policy Office at the Ministry of Environment, stated, "It has been just over 10 years since we began full support for eco-friendly vehicle supply, and last year, more than 10% of new car registrations were eco-friendly vehicles. This achievement would have been difficult without both government support and the industry's active investment in technology."

Director Geum added, "Transitioning to eco-friendly vehicles is an essential task to compete in the global automotive market. Let us join forces between the public and private sectors to overcome global crises and leap forward as a leading country in the global mobility market."
