DearU Inc., a global fan communication platform company (CEO An Jong-oh), announced on the 31st that it has launched a simple payment service for Android users in China.
Until now, Android-based users in the China region have experienced significant inconvenience when purchasing Bubble passes and using the service.
In the case of the Bubble service, about 80% of users are overseas, and China is known to be the region with the highest proportion, including domestic users. Additionally, the Android market in China is known to be much larger compared to iOS, so the introduction of a simple payment system for Android users this time is expected to lower the entry barrier for using the service and serve as an opportunity to increase new Bubble user inflow, supported by the recent reopening of China and the popularity of Korean content.
According to a company official, “Until now, Chinese Android users have found it difficult to use the Bubble service, and some users have been attempting payments through workarounds such as virtual private networks (VPNs), which was regrettable. With the introduction of this payment system, Chinese Android users can easily purchase passes, resolving these inconveniences, and it is expected to expand the influx of Chinese fans,” they said.
