[Asia Economy Yeongnam Reporting Headquarters, Reporter Song Jong-gu] It was recently revealed that employees of Masan Baseball Center, operated by Changwon Facilities Corporation in Gyeongnam, saved the precious life of a customer who collapsed due to cardiac arrest through prompt and accurate initial response.
On the 25th at around 11:25 a.m., Mr. A (67) suddenly lost consciousness and collapsed while resting after a badminton game at the Olympic Memorial Hall gymnasium of Masan Baseball Center.
Witnessing this, gym staff member Deputy Manager Lee Eun-woo assessed Mr. A’s breathing and consciousness while spreading the situation and simultaneously called 119 emergency services.
Upon receiving the report, Section Chief Jeon Jae-il confirmed that Mr. A was in cardiac arrest and urgently performed cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR) and artificial respiration, but consciousness did not return.
