KEPCO Yeongyang Branch and Power Labor Union Yeongyang Chapter Deliver New Year Support Supplies to Gyeongbuk Comprehensive Welfare Center for the Disabled Yeongyang Branch

[Asia Economy Yeongnam Reporting Headquarters Reporter Dongguk Lee] Korea Electric Power Corporation Yeongyang Branch and the Power Union Yeongyang Chapter (Chairman Jongun Kim) visited the Yeongyang Branch of the Gyeongbuk Comprehensive Welfare Center for the Disabled on the 31st to deliver 40 bags of rice for low-income disabled care service recipients.


Korea Electric Power Corporation Yeongyang Branch, leading the production of clean and warm energy centered on people, continuously conducts volunteer activities such as donating daily necessities every year to promote the welfare of disabled people in the region.

KEPCO Yeongyang Branch and Power Labor Union Yeongyang Chapter Deliver New Year Support Supplies to Gyeongbuk Comprehensive Welfare Center for the Disabled Yeongyang Branch Korea Electric Power Corporation Yeongyang Branch and the Power Labor Union Yeongyang Chapter donated sponsorship items to the Yeongyang Nutrition Branch of the Comprehensive Welfare Center for the Disabled.

Kang Gichul, head of the Yeongyang Branch, said, "I hope this will provide some comfort to the underprivileged who need help as we welcome the New Year," and added, "We will continue to do our best to contribute to the local community through various volunteer activities."


Choi Eunyoung, director, said, "We are grateful for the precious donations every year at a time when continued COVID-19 and economic downturn require more attention to vulnerable groups, and we ask for continued cooperation to improve the welfare of residents."


County Governor Oh Dochang said, "I thank the KEPCO employees who participated in donating and delivering support items for the disabled and the volunteers of the Gyeongbuk Comprehensive Welfare Center for the Disabled Yeongyang Branch, and I hope that such donations and volunteer activities will continue to make Yeongyang County a warm place."
