Chairman Kwon Cheong-won of the KPGA Competition Committee, three competition committee members, and Director Lee Woo-jin of the Operations Department attended an international conference held there and then discussed practice rounds, tournament operations, course inspection and setup, and golf rules rulings with the PGA Tour Competition Committee.

Chairman Kwon said, "I was amazed by the advanced equipment and systematic systems that the PGA Tour possesses. I also realized that meticulous course management and sufficient course preparation time are necessary to hold the best tournaments." He added, "I hope there will be more opportunities like this for the development of the domestic tour."

Director Lee emphasized, "After identifying applicable items for domestic implementation before the season opener, we plan to introduce them starting this season. As the number of players advancing to overseas tours through the KPGA Korean Tour increases, the role of the KPGA Competition Committee is more important than ever."

KPGA stated that with the support of the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism and the Korea Sports Promotion Foundation, and the full support of Choi Kyung-ju (53, SK Telecom), who was present on site, the event was successfully completed.
