Boseong-gun Holds 'Visiting Empathy Dialogue with Residents'

Implementing Resident Participation Administration Through Dialogue Format

[Boseong=Asia Economy Honam Reporting Headquarters Reporter Park Cheon-seok] Boseong-gun, Jeollanam-do announced that from February 7th starting with Boseong-eup until the 15th, it will hold the ‘2023 Visiting Dialogue with Residents’ with two eup/myeon per day.

This dialogue with residents is conducted to share the direction of county administration with residents and collect on-site suggestions, aiming to implement resident-participation administration where the county and eup/myeon residents lead the county government together.

Boseong County will hold the '2023 On-the-Go Dialogue with Residents' starting from Boseong-eup on February 7th, with two towns and townships each day until the 15th.

A county official said, “We are doing our best to prepare so that residents who have thoughts or ideas for county development can have conversations in a comfortable atmosphere.” He added, “We hope many residents will take interest and actively participate.”

In particular, this dialogue with residents will be conducted as a more empathetic conversation breaking away from the formalized format, with the county governor directly explaining the current status and future vision of the county administration for the first time.

Governor Kim Cheol-woo said, “Under the banner of ‘Boseong Running Again 3·6·5,’ I will lead the county administration with the attitude of ‘Chosim Bulmang Mabu Jakchim’ for uninterrupted development of Boseong.” He added, “This year as well, I will create meaningful communication time with residents with the belief that the answer lies in the field.”

The dialogue with residents will be held on the following schedule: ▲7th Boseong-eup, Ungchi-myeon ▲8th Deukryang-myeon, Hoecheon-myeon ▲9th Miryeok-myeon, Nodong-myeon ▲10th Gyeombaek-myeon, Ueo-myeon ▲14th Boknae-myeon, Mundeok-myeon ▲15th Joseong-myeon, Beolgyo-eup.
