[Asia Economy Reporter Choi Dae-yeol] Hyundai Movex announced on the 31st that it has appointed Lee Soo-gang as the new CEO. The newly appointed CEO candidate majored in Industrial Engineering at Seoul National University and has accumulated over 30 years of experience in logistics and information technology (IT) at various companies, starting from Daewoo Motor Technical Research Institute.
He laid the foundation for smart logistics business advancement at LG CNS and served as CEO at the bio healthcare company Macrogen. Hyundai Movex described him as "the right person to strengthen competitiveness in the smart logistics automation business and realize future vision."
The company plans to officially appoint him after the regular shareholders' meeting and board of directors meeting in March. The company is engaged in smart logistics automation, platform safety doors, and IT services.
