Yesty Accumulates 6.5 Billion KRW in NeoCon Semiconductor Humidity Control Orders

[Asia Economy Reporter Hyungsoo Park] Semiconductor equipment company YesTY announced on the 31st that it has secured an order worth 6.5 billion KRW for its high-efficiency humidity control equipment "Neocon" from a domestic semiconductor company. This achievement was made in a short period since equipment supply began in October last year.

Neocon is equipment that replaces the nitrogen gas-based humidity control equipment previously used in semiconductor processes. Since it does not use nitrogen, it offers significant cost reduction benefits. Not only existing customers but also overseas semiconductor companies and major domestic and international semiconductor equipment manufacturers are verifying Neocon's cost-saving effects.

YesTY developed the next-generation humidity control equipment Neocon in October last year and conducted process evaluations jointly with domestic semiconductor companies. The process evaluation results confirmed that humidity can be controlled below the standard level. Since signing the Neocon order contract, the supply volume has been gradually increasing.

Neocon is expected to expand its application not only to foundry processes but also to memory and display processes. Recently, as the trend of process miniaturization in semiconductor companies accelerates, the importance of humidity management has increased.

A YesTY representative said, "Neocon was recognized for its humidity control performance far exceeding the standards required by customers during the process evaluation, successfully supplying it to foundry and memory processes as well."
