Callaway Golf Korea announced on the 31st that it will launch the new Odyssey Versa putter, which enhances Odyssey's patented 'Versa Alignment' technology.
The new product focuses on black-and-white contrast alignment technology. This technology allows golfers to check if they are accurately aiming at the target direction during address. The company explained that it also helps increase concentration during the putting stroke and enables precise putting. According to Callaway Golf, internal tests showed that even a 1-degree misalignment at impact results in a missed 3-meter putt.
The Versa putter is equipped with the White Hot insert face, favored most by tour professionals, improving performance aspects such as feel, sound, and stroke consistency. The shaft uses a multi-material Red Stroke Lab shaft. The steel portion is shortened, reducing the weight by 7g compared to the existing Stroke Lab shaft. Head types vary from blade to mallet styles.
A Callaway Golf Korea representative stated, "We highly recommend it to golfers who lack confidence in putting or want to increase their putting success rate."
