On the 30th, the performance planning company Credia announced that Kim Han will join the Paris National Opera as the principal clarinetist.

The Paris National Opera (Op?ra national de Paris) is a representative opera company of France, founded in 1669 by Louis XIV under the name "Acad?mie royale de Musique." It is based at the Op?ra Garnier, one of the world's four major opera houses completed in 1875, and the modern Bastille Opera House, completed in 1989, where it stages opera and ballet performances.

Myung-Whun Chung served as the music director of this opera company from 1989 to 1994. Currently, Gustavo Dudamel leads the orchestra as the music director.

Kim Han debuted at the age of 11 on the Kumho Young Artist Concert stage and was recognized for his talent as a wind instrumentalist with a well-received performance at the 2010 Kumho Young Artist New Year’s Concert. After attending Yewon School, he graduated as a scholarship student from the prestigious Eton College in the UK and the Guildhall School of Music and Drama. He demonstrated world-class skills by winning first place at the 2016 Jacques Lancelot International Competition and second place at the 2019 ARD International Competition. Since the second half of 2018, he has been the first Korean to join the Finnish Radio Symphony Orchestra, serving as the associate principal clarinetist.
