Expansion from Existing 3 Stages to 4 Stages
Shinsegae Simon announced on the 31st that it will implement a membership system reform starting from the 1st of next month, including the establishment of a new 'Gold' tier for VIP customers.
The existing three-tier membership system will be reorganized into four tiers (Premium Members, Gold, Silver, Shopper Club). The Gold tier offers benefits to customers who spend over 4 million KRW annually, with about 30% being the purchasing-powerful '2030 Young Rich' customers. Benefits for this tier include ▲ one monthly use of the premium lounge offering free beverages and snacks ▲ two personalized gift events annually ▲ and a membership coupon book containing additional brand discounts.
New partnership benefits for VIP customers will also be significantly enhanced. Premium Members and Gold customers, the highest tiers of Shinsegae Simon's membership, will be granted Shinsegae International membership Platinum and Gold tiers, respectively. They will also enjoy the same benefits as Shinsegae Duty Free membership Black tier and Samsung Card Gold tier.
