KPGA Labor and Management Sign Collective Agreement... "Expecting a Progressive Future"

2 Years and 6 Months of Negotiations
Agreement Reached on 68 Clause Proposal

The Korea Professional Golfers' Association (KPGA) and the Korea Professional Golf Tour (KGT) announced on the 30th that they have signed a collective labor agreement with the Service General Labor Union.

The signing ceremony was attended by Kim Byung-jun, Vice Chairman of KPGA and CEO of KGT, along with key representatives of the Service General Labor Union. Since August 2020, KPGA and the Service General Labor Union have negotiated for about two and a half years and reached an agreement on a collective agreement consisting of 68 articles. The main points of agreement include improving employee welfare and working conditions.


Kim Byung-jun, Vice Chairman of KPGA and CEO of KGT, said, "I believe the collective agreement between KPGA and the Service General Labor Union holds great significance," adding, "I hope that through sincere communication and cooperation in the future, we can jointly envision a progressive future for KPGA."
