[Asia Economy Reporter Seomideum] The Korea Publishing Culture Association will operate the Korean Pavilion at the 2023 Taipei International Book Exhibition held at the Taiwan World Trade Center from January 31 to February 5.
The Korean Pavilion will feature a total of thirteen publishers and agencies, including Kyowon Co., Ltd., Gozneuk ENT, Dasan Books, Daewon CI, Cheongaebaram, Darakwon, Polar Bear, and Bombom Publishing. A total of 305 titles from 49 publishers will be exhibited on consignment.
The Publishing Association will produce and distribute an informational brochure containing book details to promote copyright export exchanges among Korean Pavilion participants and support local business consultations.
Within the Korean Pavilion, a special exhibition corner for Taiwanese translations has been set up. Taiwanese export works such as "If the Wave is the Sea’s Work" by Kim Yeonsu and "The Counterattack of Thirty" by Son Wonpyeong will be featured in the "Meeting with Korean Authors" corner. Editors from local Taiwanese publishing houses will lead the sessions, engaging in in-depth discussions about Korean and Taiwanese literature.
