CJ CheilJedang announced on the 30th that it has introduced a human resources system to nurture global talent.
The newly introduced HR system is called ‘CJ&me: Create your Journey (CJ&me).’ Its purpose is to enable all employees to actively move and collaborate across countries and to establish diverse career visions. Previously, the focus was on promotion and role expansion within a single country or region, but going forward, the emphasis will be on individual career development plans. In short, the growth path will shift from vertical and horizontal routes to diverse and multidimensional growth paths.
As part of the new HR system, the first initiative launched is the ‘Global Career Market,’ an internal open recruitment program that allows employees to take on various challenges regardless of country, affiliation, or job function. The core is to actively place and develop talent from overseas subsidiaries to Korea or from one overseas subsidiary to another country.
In this Global Career Market, CJ CheilJedang is seeking talent related to global strategic products, new markets, and new businesses among its approximately 34,000 employees worldwide. Employees selected through the open recruitment will work at global subsidiaries in Korea, Vietnam, the United States, and other locations.
