Aekyung Industrial's Alpiste announced on the 30th that it has launched a ‘vegan shampoo bar’ that healthily cares for the scalp and hair.
The Alpiste Vegan Shampoo Bar is a product that compresses nourishing ingredients for hair care into a solid form, and one bar can be used as much as 500ml of regular liquid shampoo.
It contains seven herbal ingredients such as Edelweiss extract grown in the Swiss highlands and Masterwort leaf extract to healthily care for the scalp. It also includes seven natural ingredients such as baobab seed extract and hydrolyzed soy protein to effectively manage damaged hair.
Applying a 'vegan formulation' that excludes animal-derived ingredients during the manufacturing process, it has obtained vegan certification from the Korea Vegan Certification Institute. In addition, it practices clean beauty by using a single box certified with the Forest Stewardship Council (FSC) mark and soy ink, a plant-based ink, considering the environment.
It is a mildly acidic formulation product that received a low-irritation rating through skin irritation tests, gently and comfortably cleansing the scalp and hair, and does not contain 12 concerning ingredients such as synthetic colorants and parabens for healthy scalp care.
Using premium fragrances from a Swiss fragrance company with over 100 years of history, it was released in two types: ‘Baby Powder scent,’ which is warm and sweet, and ‘Cotton Musk scent,’ which has an elegant and luxurious lingering aroma, allowing users to choose according to their preferred scent.
