Galleria Department Store announced on the 30th that it will recruit members for the '2023 Culture Center Spring Semester' until the 28th of next month.
The spring semester will run from March 2 to May 31, and the enrollment capacity, which had been reduced due to COVID-19, has been increased by more than 20-30% depending on the store. The number of courses has been expanded by 15-20% compared to last spring semester. Culture Center courses can be applied for online, offline, and through the Galleria mobile application (app).
This time, the courses are planned around the theme of spring. Hobby classes such as self-gardening classes related to plants and planterior classes that use plants to decorate indoor spaces will be introduced. Art-related courses have also become more diverse than the previous year. Representative courses include "Wise Exhibition Life" introduced by docents and "World City Art Travel" with an art guide. To commemorate the 140th anniversary of Korea-Germany diplomatic relations, German-related courses have also been planned. These include a sommelier lecture introducing the charm of German wine and a cooking class where participants can make the traditional German dish Schweinshaxen.
A Galleria official stated, “We plan to offer a variety of customer participation classes, which had been limited until now, starting from this spring semester.”
