Support for Trademark/Product Development and Marketing
[Asia Economy Yeongnam Reporting Headquarters Reporter Kim Yong-woo] Ulsan City is recruiting companies to participate in business development to support and foster the self-reliance foundation of social economy enterprises.
By February 10, companies to participate in the '2023 Social Economy Enterprise Business Development Expense Support Project' will be selected and supported.
This project supports business development expenses such as brand and product development, prototype production, and marketing to help social economy enterprises establish a sustainable and stable profit structure.
The eligible applicants are certified social enterprises, preliminary social enterprises (regional type, ministry type), village enterprises, and self-support enterprises (corporations) located in Ulsan City that employ at least one paid worker (self-employed worker).
If selected as a supported company, certified social enterprises can receive support for up to 3 years, other enterprises up to 2 years, and village and self-support enterprises that have received financial support from the relevant ministry for up to 1 year.
The annual support limit is up to 100 million KRW for certified social enterprises and up to 50 million KRW for others. In cases where a joint trademark brand is developed for technology development and market expansion, support is provided up to less than 300 million KRW annually.
However, depending on the round, a self-payment of 10% for the first round, 20% for the second round, and 30% or more for the third round and beyond is applied.
Applications can be submitted through the Social Enterprise Integrated Information System.
Ulsan City plans to announce the selection results on the Ulsan City website at the end of March after reviewing documents and on-site inspections from each district and county and deliberation by the screening committee.
