BNK Busan Bank Donates 110 Million KRW as Special Membership Fee to Korean Red Cross

[Asia Economy Yeongnam Reporting Headquarters Reporter Hwang Du-yeol] BNK Busan Bank held the ‘2023 Korean Red Cross Special Membership Fee Delivery Ceremony’ at the Korean Red Cross Busan Branch on the 27th.


To promote the culture of sharing in the region and support relief and disaster aid, BNK affiliates combined their fundraising amounts to deliver a total of 110 million KRW: 50 million KRW to the Busan Branch, 40 million KRW to the Gyeongnam Branch, and 20 million KRW to the Ulsan Branch.


Busan Bank has been holding the Korean Red Cross Special Membership Fee Delivery Ceremony for 17 years since 2007.

Song Sang-seop, Head of the Central and Gyeongnam Sales Headquarters at Busan Bank, who participated in the delivery ceremony, said, “We are grateful that Busan Bank can be part of this meaningful event every year,” and added, “We hope this special membership fee will serve as a catalyst to deliver warm energy throughout the region.”


On the 10th, Busan Bank delivered Dongbaekjeon Busan tourism gift certificates and traditional market gift certificates worth 450 million KRW to 9,000 underprivileged households living in Busan, Gimhae, and Yangsan as part of the Lunar New Year ‘Dongbaeknuri Sharing Project.’
