Muan-gun Illo-eup Saemaeul Women's Association Wins Awards in 5 Categories at Regular General Meeting

1% Sharing Donation Category Grand Prize Winner

[Asia Economy] The Saemaeul Women's Association of Illo-eup, Muan-gun, Jeollanam-do (President Lee Bok-rye) received awards in five categories, including the Grand Prize in the 1% Sharing Sponsorship category, at the 2022 Comprehensive Evaluation and 2023 Regular General Meeting of the Muan-gun Saemaeul Women's Association held on the 26th at the Seungdal Culture and Arts Center Exhibition Hall.

According to the Women's Association on the 27th, at the general meeting, they received the Grand Prize in the 1% Sharing Sponsorship category, the Excellence Award in the Resource Recycling category, the Encouragement Award in the Agricultural Products Direct Transaction category, and the Encouragement Award in the Comprehensive Evaluation category.

In particular, Kim Hyun-soon, the secretary of the Illo-eup Saemaeul Women's Association, achieved the Encouragement Award in the Business Log category, boosting the pride of the association members.

Kim Soo-young, mayor of Illo-eup, said, "I sincerely congratulate the members of the Illo-eup Saemaeul Women's Association and thank the members who have contributed to the development of the local community by promoting altruistic volunteer activities with the Saemaeul spirit," adding, "I hope they continue to be a proud and reliable pillar in the community as distinguished Saemaeul women."

Lee Bok-rye, president of the Illo-eup Saemaeul Women's Association, said, "I would like to express my gratitude to all members who have led the Saemaeul Association together despite difficult circumstances," and added, "We will continue to actively practice sharing and volunteering and strive for resident harmony and regional development."
