KLPGA TV Content Takes 1st and 2nd Place
The Korea Ladies Professional Golf Association (KLPGA) captures the everyday and cheerful moments of players through broadcasts on its official YouTube and Naver NOW channel, KLPGA TV (Kelpi TV). What was the most viewed content by golf fans on Kelpi TV last year?
According to KLPGA on the 27th, the most loved Kelpi TV content last year was 'How to Enjoy the Trending Pick N Golf (feat. Cutiful Park Hyun-kyung),' where Park Hyun-kyung introduces 'Pick N Golf,' a collaboration between Naver and KLPGA. This content recorded a total of 81,876 views.
The second place went to the content titled 'Which Female Celebrity Do Park Hyun-kyung and Lee Ga-young Want to Play Golf With?' This was the third episode of the 'Ideal Type World Cup' series planned by Kelpi TV, garnering a total of 75,915 views.
Ranking third with a total of 50,450 views was 'Which Male Celebrity Do KLPGA Promotional Models Want to Play a Round With? (feat. Lee So-mi & Cho A-yeon).' Produced as the second episode of the Ideal Type World Cup series, this content featured Cho A-yeon and Lee So-mi showcasing their witty charm, attracting the attention of golf fans.
In fourth place was a content from the 'KLPGA Character Exploration' series, first attempted on Kelpi TV last year. Among the 11 series, 'Getting to Know Kim Jae-hee, the Winner of the 120 Million Won Hole-in-One' recorded 21,065 views.
The fifth place was taken by the first episode of the Ideal Type World Cup series, 'The Male Celebrity World Cup That Heo Da-bin and Song Ga-eun Want to Play a Round With,' which ranked second and third previously. It had a total of 18,054 views.
Kelpi TV is gaining interest across all age groups. In 2020, based on YouTube data, over 50% of Kelpi TV’s main subscribers were aged 45-54, and except for the 35-44 age group, no other age group exceeded 10%. However, since 2021, by consistently producing content reflecting the latest trends, last year the 18-24 age group accounted for 7.4%, the 25-34 age group 12.6%, and the 35-44 age group 27.8% respectively.
